The Xperia 10 II is slightly better than the HTC One (M8), having a 78.5 score against 71.9. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Xperia 10 II has a newer 10 version and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 version, so it counts with a couple nice extra features. The Xperia 10 II design is noticeably newer, a little bit lighter and thinner than the HTC One (M8).
The HTC One (M8) features a slightly better looking display than Xperia 10 II, although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a little bit less pixels per inch in the display and a quite smaller display. Xperia 10 II features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One (M8), because it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
The HTC One (M8) has just a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia 10 II, because although it has less cpu cores (although they are faster) and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Xperia 10 II has a much better camera than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a same size aperture, the Xperia 10 II also has a way higher 3840x2160 video quality, a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality photographs and a camera with lot more MP.
The Xperia 10 II features a very superior battery lifetime than HTC One (M8), because it has a 38 percent larger battery size.
