The Galaxy S III has an overall score of 70, which is slightly better than the HTC One M8s's 66.5 score. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S III has an older 4.3 version and HTC One M8s has Android 5.0. The Galaxy S III is a thinner and somewhat lighter cellphone than the HTC One M8s.

The Galaxy S III features a little bit better performance than HTC One M8s, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S III also has 1 more cpu cores and an additional graphics co-processor. HTC One M8s has a bit sharper display than Galaxy S III, because it has a bit larger screen, a much higher 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a better pixel count in each inch of screen.

The Galaxy S III captures just a bit better pictures and videos than HTC One M8s, although it has a way less MP camera, a lot tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting images or video in poorly lited environments and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. HTC One M8s features a slightly better storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the HTC One M8s also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 128 GB.

The HTC One M8s has a way better battery performance than Galaxy S III, because it has 2840mAh of battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.

The Galaxy S III is not only the best devices in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest, making this phone a great choice.
