Google Pixel 4a has a general score of 82.9, which is much better than HTC One M9 Plus's general score of 66.8. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Google Pixel 4a has the newer 11 version while HTC One M9 Plus has Android 5.0 version, providing some additional features.
HTC One M9 Plus features a much better display than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better count of pixels per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. HTC One M9 Plus features a little better performance than Google Pixel 4a, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the HTC One M9 Plus also counts with a 64 bits processor.
The Google Pixel 4a has a much bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9 Plus, because it has more internal storage capacity. Google Pixel 4a features a much better battery performance than HTC One M9 Plus. The Google Pixel 4a captures much clearer photographs and videos than HTC One M9 Plus, although it has a back facing camera with way less mega-pixels and a worse video resolution.
The Google Pixel 4a costs a bit more than the HTC One M9 Plus, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
