Asus ROG Phone 5 has a general score of 84.7, which is a little bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 score. Although Asus ROG Phone 5 is notably newer than HTC One M9, it is just a little bit thicker and way heavier. The HTC One M9 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has 5 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the HTC One M9 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor.
The HTC One M9 has a little sharper screen than Asus ROG Phone 5, because although it has a little bit lower 1920 x 1080px resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher display pixel density. Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone 5 features a much better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 5 takes way better photographs and videos than HTC One M9, because it has a much higher 64 MP resolution camera, a bigger aperture for better photos and video in low-light situations, a much higher video definition and a lot bigger camera sensor capturing way higher quality photographs and videos.
