The Google Pixel 2 is a little bit better than the HTC One M9, having an 81.6 score against 77.7. Google Pixel 2 is a much newer phone, and it's also thinner and just a little lighter than the HTC One M9. HTC One M9 counts with a bit faster CPU than Google Pixel 2, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an additional graphics processing unit.
HTC One M9 features a sharper display than Google Pixel 2. Both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 resolution, a same size display and the same display pixel density. The HTC One M9 features a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the HTC One M9 also counts with a lot better 20 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Google Pixel 2 has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The HTC One M9 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2, because it has 2840mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
