Comparison review
Huawei P20 has a score of 78.1, which is just a bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 general score. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P20 has 9.0 Pie version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. Huawei P20's body is much newer and noticeably thinner than the HTC One M9's, although it is a little bit heavier.
HTC One M9 features just a bit better performance than Huawei P20, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits processor and a GPU. HTC One M9 counts with a sharper display than Huawei P20, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.
HTC One M9 shoots a bit better photos and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has a tinier camera sensor which offers a lower photo and video quality and a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the HTC One M9 also counts with a lot more mega pixels back-facing camera.
The Huawei P20 features a much better storage for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Huawei P20 counts with better battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 3400mAh battery size against 2840mAh.
Although Huawei P20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Huawei P20, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the HTC One M9, giving up some specifications.
