The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has an overall score of 80.1, which is slightly better than HTC One M9's 77.7 score. These devices work with Android operating system, but the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a newer 10 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, giving a couple nice extra features and performance optimizations. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren's design is newer and just a bit thinner, but also a lot heavier than the HTC One M9.
HTC One M9 has just a bit better performance than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has 9 GB less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an additional GPU. HTC One M9 counts with a bit sharper screen than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, although it has a much smaller screen, a just a little worse pixels density and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution.
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren counts with a lot bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren has a much longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has 4085mAh of battery capacity.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features a superior camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a back facing camera with much more mega pixels, faster 60 frames per second video frame rate, a way bigger diafragm aperture for better low-light images and videos and a bigger camera sensor.
Although OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, else you can save a couple dollars and get the HTC One M9, letting go some features and specifications.
