Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a score of 88, which is better than HTC One M9's global score of 77.7. Samsung Galaxy M31s's construction is way newer and just a bit thinner, but also noticeably heavier than the HTC One M9. Both of these phones have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy M31s has 11 version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version.
The HTC One M9 features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels density. Galaxy M31s features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage.
The HTC One M9 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an extra graphics processor. The Galaxy M31s has a much better battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 2840mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy M31s shoots much better photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a back camera with lot more mega-pixels, a larger aperture to capture better images in low light situations and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
