Comparison review

The Galaxy Note Edge is slightly better than the HTC One M9, with a general score of 81.7 against 77.7. These phones use the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any difference regarding OS features. Although the Galaxy Note Edge and HTC One M9 were only released 6 months apart, Galaxy Note Edge's design is somewhat thinner but a little bit heavier.

The Galaxy Note Edge features a bit sharper display than HTC One M9, because it has a little larger display, a just a little greater display pixel density and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. The HTC One M9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the HTC One M9 also has a faster GPU working at 600 megahertz, 4 more CPU cores and a 64-bit CPU.

HTC One M9 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a F2.2 aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the HTC One M9 also has a higher 20 MP resolution back-facing camera and a larger sensor shooting higher quality photographs and videos.

The HTC One M9 and the Galaxy Note Edge count with similar storage capacity for apps and games, both of them have equal 32 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that allows up to 128 GB. Galaxy Note Edge has just a bit longer battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 6% larger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC One M9. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy HTC One M9, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
