Galaxy Note9 has a global score of 87.1, which is much better than HTC One M9's overall score of 77.7. Galaxy Note9's body is incredibly newer and just a bit thinner than the HTC One M9's, although it is also extremely heavier. The HTC One M9 counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy Note9, because although it has less RAM, and they both have 8 cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an extra GPU.

HTC One M9 counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note9, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, a much smaller display and a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than HTC One M9, because it has 96 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little bit better camera than HTC One M9, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition, a back-facing camera with much less mega-pixels resolution and a tinier back-facing camera sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, it also counts with a much bigger aperture to take better low light photography and videos.

Galaxy Note9 counts with a much better battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has a 41 percent greater battery size.

Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the HTC One M9, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
