HTC One M9 is a bit better than HTC One max, having a global score of 77.7 against 70.8. Both phones in this comparison include Android OS (operating system), but HTC One M9 has a more recent 5.0 version while HTC One max has Android 4.4.2. HTC One M9's body is newer, a little thinner and noticeably lighter than the HTC One max.

The HTC One M9 counts with a quite better processing power than HTC One max, because it has a 64-bit CPU, a much better 600 MHz GPU, more RAM and a greater number of cores (and faster). The HTC One M9 has a little bit better looking screen than HTC One max, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the HTC One M9 also counts with a little bit greater screen pixels density.
