Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is better than the HTC One max's global score of 70.8. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Note 3 has newer 5.0 version while HTC One max has Android 4.4.2. Galaxy Note 3's body is somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than HTC One max, even though both were released only a few months apart.

Galaxy Note 3 counts with a little more vivid display than HTC One max, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Galaxy Note 3 also counts with a bit better screen pixels density. Galaxy Note 3 has a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than HTC One max, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Note 3 also has 32 GB more internal storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with a little better hardware performance than HTC One max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a larger amount of RAM memory and a much better graphics processing unit running at 450 MHz. HTC One max features a bit superior battery duration than Galaxy Note 3, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3200mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 captures way better photos and videos than HTC One max, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for shooting images and videos in low light environments and a smaller sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, it also counts with a lot better (4K) video definition and a camera with a much better resolution.

Galaxy Note 3 is not only the best phones of the ones in this comparison, but it's also cheap compared to the HTC One max.
