Although Huawei Mate 8 and the HTC One ME were only released 6 months apart, Huawei Mate 8's design is somewhat heavier but somewhat thinner than the HTC One ME. Huawei Mate 8 features a bit better processing unit than HTC One ME, because it has a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
The HTC One ME features a much more vibrant display than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a way greater pixel amount per inch in the display. HTC One ME features slightly more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 2 TB.
The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much longer battery life than HTC One ME, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit better camera than HTC One ME, because although it has a worse 16 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a lot worse (Full HD) video definition, it also counts with a larger camera aperture.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC One ME, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One ME.
