HTC One ME Review

HTC One ME is a brilliantly built Android device launched back in the year 2015, packed with a pretty big 5.2" touch-screen, a high-tech processing unit clocking at 2200 MHz, and 2 cameras, a 20 MP back side camera and a 4 megapixels front side camera.

HTC made an excellent job making this phone weight only 5.47 ounces. About its body design materials, the HTC One ME is mostly created with plastic; metal. This phone just has 5.94" long and 2.83" wide, but it is able to fit a a 5.2 inches display. Being just 0.38" thick,this phone is extremely thin and good-looking. This phone is sold in two different color options, gray and gold.

HTC designed this cellphone with a great 5.2-inches screen, and a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (Quad HD / 2K), which makes everything look brightful and colorful. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

HTC equipped the HTC One ME with a great processing unit ticking at 2200 megahertz, included in a MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 chip with a large 3 GB RAM memory. The HTC One ME has a 32 GB large internal storage memory and an external SD slot, allowing you to install hundreds of apps and even the heaviest games available nowadays without even thinking about filling the phone.

The HTC One ME features wifi connection (and it can share it with other devices acting as a wireless modem or router), LTE (4G) high performance connectivity and 3G fast connection type, supported by HSPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The HTC One ME uses 2 Nano SIM cards so it is able to use two different carriers or phone lines in the same phone.

This cellphone features two cameras, a 20 MP back camera and a 4 MP front facing camera. Its back camera has a maximum 2.2 aperture so it can shoot clear photographs even in dark environments. It is also able to capture 3840x2160 4K videos. The camera also counts with some nice characteristics: flash, auto-focus, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

This phone features a 2840 mAh inmense Li - Polymer non-removable battery that can keep this phone running for many hours without having to charge it at all. According to HTC, the HTC One ME has a reported talk time of 23.3 hs and a stand by time of 598 hs. An issue to consider is that this phone's battery is not replaceable so you can't throw it away and buy a new one when it starts to last shorter, even though with such a big battery you will probably buy a new cellphone before that becomes a real problem.

The HTC One ME also comes with a wide variety of cool characteristics like NFC, Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth (4.1) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

This cellphone might not be a good choice considering it is offerred for $ 249, while other similar cellphones cost a bit less than that. No matter if you are looking for a work device, will use it as a gaming phone, are looking for a social cellphone or are an amateur photographer, you will probably be very happy with this cellphone.
