Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a global score of 76.3, which is just a bit better than the HTC One ME's overall score of 73.5. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has an older 4.4.4 version while HTC One ME has Android 5.0 version. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha design is extremely lighter and way thinner than the HTC One ME.
The HTC One ME has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way better resolution of 2560 x 1440, a quite bigger display and a lot higher display pixel density. The HTC One ME counts with a superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same internal storage, the HTC One ME also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 2 TB.
Galaxy Alpha counts with a better performing processing unit than HTC One ME, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and a higher number of cores. The Galaxy Alpha features a better camera than HTC One ME, although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a way less mega pixels resolution camera, they both have a F2.2 diafragm aperture.
The HTC One ME counts with a superior battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 2840mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is more expensive than the HTC One ME, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One ME. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get HTC One ME, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
