Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is better than HTC One ME's 73.5 global score. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S5 is older than the HTC One ME, it's body is thinner and just a little lighter. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S5 has older 4.4.2 version while HTC One ME has Android 5.0 version.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a better performing CPU than HTC One ME, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy S5 also has 3 more processing cores and an additional GPU. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a little more vivid screen than HTC One ME, because although it has a lot lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little better pixels density.
The Galaxy S5 has a superior camera than HTC One ME, although it has a back facing camera with less mega pixels, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a tinier sensor capturing lower quality pictures, they both have a same size camera aperture. HTC One ME counts with a superior memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the HTC One ME also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 2 TB.
Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One ME both have quite similar battery durations, although the Samsung Galaxy S5 has 2800mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a lot more expensive than the HTC One ME, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
