Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the HTC One ME's 73.5 overall score. Although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium and HTC One ME were released with only a couple months difference, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium construction is heavier but thinner than HTC One ME. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version and HTC One ME has Android 5.0 version, so it offers a couple nice extra features.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a better performing CPU than HTC One ME, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has 7 more CPU cores (although they are slower) and a graphics processor. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a sharper display than HTC One ME, because it has a quite larger display, a way better 3840 x 2160 resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
The HTC One ME features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the HTC One ME also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 2 TB. Xperia Z5 Premium shoots greater photos and videos than HTC One ME, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a camera with more mega-pixels, a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a larger diafragm aperture.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with superior battery life than HTC One ME, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than HTC One ME, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC One ME. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the HTC One ME, letting go some features and specs.
