Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a bit better than HTC One ME, getting a overall score of 77.5 against 73.5. Even though Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is much heavier than the HTC One ME, it's notably thinner and newer. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a little bit better performance than HTC One ME, because it has more RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
HTC One ME has a much better screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater number of pixels per inch of display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px. HTC One ME features a little bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 2 TB.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much better camera than HTC One ME, although it has a smaller back camera sensor taking lower quality photographs and videos, a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a camera with lot less mega-pixels, they both have a same size aperture. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a really longer battery performance than HTC One ME, because it has a 5300mAh battery size against 2840mAh.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is more expensive than HTC One ME, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
