These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S4 has 4.4.2 version while HTC One has Android 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy S4 design is somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter than the HTC One, even though both of them were only released with a couple of months difference.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a little better performance than HTC One. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount, the same number of cores and a 400 megahertz graphics co-processor. The Galaxy S4 has a little bit better screen than HTC One, because although it has a little lower pixel density, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a bit bigger display.

The HTC One counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S4, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy S4 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than HTC One, because it has 2600mAh of battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a much better camera than HTC One, because although it has a tinier camera sensor taking worse quality pictures and a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for low light images, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also counts with a lot more mega pixels back facing camera.

Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S4 is also very cheap compared to the other phones, making it very easy to pick between these phones.
