HTC One is an incredibly powerful Android cellphone launched many years ago, having a high-tech Quad-Core processing unit ticking at 1.7 gigahertz, a 4.7 inches display, and two cameras, a 4 MP back-facing camera and a 2.1 megapixels front facing camera. But it's time to get into much more details.
While the HTC One is only 5.41 inches long and 2.69" wide, it's still able to fit a a 4.7 inches display. The HTC One has an amazing design, with a thickness of just 0.37". HTC is offering this phone in black, red and white. HTC did an amazing job making this phone as lightweight as 5.04 oz.
This phone is equipped with a completely amazing 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 4.7 inches display, which makes all images and videos look completely perfect. Its display uses S-LCD 3 capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
HTC decided to power this phone with a great 1.7 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T chip and a large 2 GB RAM memory. To help with graphic intensive applications and games, the HTC One also has an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit running at 400 megahertz. An amazing feature of this device is its astonishing 64 GB internal memory and even though it doesn't count with an SD memory card expansion slot, it is still enough to install lots of applications, games, songs, photos and videos without even thinking about running out of space at all.
This device has two cameras, a 4 MP back side camera and a 2.1 megapixels front facing camera. Its back side camera has an aperture of f/2 so it can shoot clear photos even in poorly lit environments. This cellphone also captures Full HD 1920x1080 videos at 30 frames per second, and slow motion videos in 768x432 up to 96 fps (3.2 times slower ). This camera also counts with lots of interesting characteristics: auto-focus, flash, optical image stabilization, fast burst mode, HDR mode and geo tagging.
This phone includes Wi-Fi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a wireless modem), 4G (LTE) fast connection type and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC One uses a Micro SIM card to use GSM services and it can work with both GSM and CDMA networks.
The HTC One also comes with a wide variety of cool characteristics like NFC, Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth (enables communication with other devices, computers, and accessories), GPS Localization and Radio, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
The HTC One packs a big 2300 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery that can keep it running for several hours, although you may need to charge it if you use it heavily. This phone has an estimated 259 hours stand by time and a 11.4 hs talk time according to HTC. An issue to consider is that this cellphone's battery is non-removable so you can't change it when it starts to get older, while with this big battery you will probably buy a new cellphone before it happens.
The HTC One is priced about 174 dollars, quite expensive for a phone this level. No matter if you need a cellphone to majorly use social networks and internet browsing, love photography, need a cellphone for gaming or want a work cellphone, you will definitely love this phone.
