The Galaxy S8 is much better than HTC One, with an 81.7 score against 70.5. Galaxy S8's construction is much newer and somewhat thinner than HTC One's, although it's also a bit heavier. Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a little faster CPU than HTC One, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and they are faster) and 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Galaxy S8 counts with a little bit better looking display than HTC One, because it has a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960, a larger display and a quite higher number of pixels per screen inch. Galaxy S8 features a lot better camera than HTC One, because it has a larger back camera sensor, a bigger aperture to capture better captures and video in low light situations, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lot higher 12 MP resolution camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a much better storage to install games and applications than HTC One, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with improved battery lifetime than HTC One, because it has a 30% greater battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy S8 is also the cheapest one.
