HTC One Review

HTC One is an amazing cellphone launched back in the year 2013, counting with a 4.7-inches multi-touch capacitive display, a high speed 1.7 GHz Quad-Core processor, and two cameras, a 4 MP back camera and a 2.1 MP front side camera. Let's take a better sight of what this device can give us.

HTC offers this cellphone in 3 colors: black, red and white. This device is much lighter than what one would think about a phone like this. This phone is quite a compact device, considering it presents a 4.7 inches display and it has just 5.41 inches long and 2.69" wide. Being just 0.37" thick,the HTC One is very thin and good-looking.

The HTC One is equipped with an absolutely amazing 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) 4.7-inches screen, giving this device a very detailed graphical experience. This screen uses S-LCD 3 capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This cellphone comes with a high speed Quad-Core processing unit clocking at 1.7 GHz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T chip with a great 2 GB RAM memory. Helping with graphic intensive apps and games, the HTC One also uses an Adreno 320 graphic processing unit clocking at 400 MHz. A great advantage of this cellphone is its large 64 GB internal memory and even though it doesn't have an SD memory slot, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of apps and even the largest games currently available without thinking about filling it.

This cellphone has two cameras, a 4 MP back side camera and a 2.1 MP front camera. the HTC One's back side camera lens has a F2 aperture so it can shoot awesome photographs even in poor lighting conditions. This cellphone also films videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 frames per second, and 768x432 slow motion videos up to 96 frames per second (3.2 times slower than normal videos). In addition, the camera features multiple interesting features like auto-focus, flash, fast burst mode, optical image stabilization, HDR mode and geo tagging.

The HTC One comes with amassive 2300 mAh Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery that provides the HTC One an average battery duration. This cellphone has an estimated 16.7 hours talk time and a 408 hs stand by time. An issue to take into account is that this phone's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts losing capacity, whereas with so much capacity you will probably discard this cellphone before it happens.

The HTC One has wi-fi connection (which it can provide to other devices around, acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high performance connectivity and fast 3G connectivity, supported by HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The HTC One works with a Micro SIM card for GSM networks and it can connect using both CDMA and GSM carriers.

This cellphone also comes with plenty of useful characteristics like NFC (Near Field Communication), Infrared Port, Bluetooth (4.0), GPS Localization and FM Radio, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

HTC is selling the HTC One for 149 dollars, which is not so cheap for a phone this level. This phone is definitely a great choice for you it doesn't matter whether you want a phone for work, are looking for a gaming phone, will use this phone mostly for internet broswing and social networks or want it to take plenty of photos.
