Galaxy S4 is much better than the HTC One, with a 78.2 score against 70.5. Even when Galaxy S4 and the HTC One were released with only 1 months difference, Galaxy S4 is somewhat thinner and just a little lighter. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S4 has the previous 4.4.2 version while HTC One has Android 5.0 version.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a little more vivid display than HTC One, because although it has a quite worse pixels density, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also counts with a little larger screen. Galaxy S4 has a little bit better performance than HTC One, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores, the Galaxy S4 also has a much better graphics co-processor running at 450 megahertz.

HTC One counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S4, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy S4 features a bit longer battery lifetime than HTC One, because it has a 2600mAh battery size instead of 2300mAh.

Galaxy S4 shoots much better videos and photos than HTC One, because although it has a smaller sensor capturing lower quality photographs and a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy S4 also counts with a back camera with a lot better resolution.

Samsung Galaxy S4 is a little more expensive than the HTC One, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
