The Google Nexus 5 has a global score of 76, which is a bit better than HTC One X10's general score of 73.8. The Google Nexus 5 construction is way lighter than the HTC One X10, but it's a little thicker and was released 4 years before. The Google Nexus 5 has Android 4.4.3 operating system, and HTC One X10 comes with Android, HTC Sense UI operating system.

Google Nexus 5 features a more vivid display than HTC One X10, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch. The Google Nexus 5 counts with a bit better CPU than HTC One X10, because although it has lesser processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

HTC One X10 has a bit better camera than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the HTC One X10 also has a lot more MP camera in the back and a bigger aperture for better images and videos in low-light situations.

The HTC One X10 has a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the HTC One X10 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The HTC One X10 has a really longer battery life than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 2300mAh.

Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it costs more than the HTC One X10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One X10. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the HTC One X10, letting go a couple specs and features.
