Samsung Rugby Smart is a bit better than HTC Radar, with a 59.4 score against 54. Samsung Rugby Smart has Android 2.3.5 operating system, and HTC Radar has Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. Even though Samsung Rugby Smart and HTC Radar were released with only 6 months difference, Samsung Rugby Smart's body is somewhat lighter but also thicker.

The Samsung Rugby Smart counts with a little bit better looking display than HTC Radar, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 480px, the Samsung Rugby Smart also counts with a just a little higher number of pixels in each screen inch.

Samsung Rugby Smart features more memory for games and applications than HTC Radar, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB. Samsung Rugby Smart features a bit better processing unit than HTC Radar, although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, they both have the same RAM amount and a Single-Core CPU.

Samsung Rugby Smart features just a little bit longer battery life than HTC Radar, because it has a 9% more battery capacity. Samsung Rugby Smart features a better camera than HTC Radar, although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for taking images or video in low-light environments, they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video definition and the same video frame rates.
