The Nokia 1.3 has Android 11 operating system, and HTC Surround has Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system.

The Nokia 1.3 has a little faster processing unit than HTC Surround, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processor, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The HTC Surround and the Nokia 1.3 both have incredibly similar screens, although the Nokia 1.3 also has a much bigger display, a just a bit higher pixels density and a much better resolution of 720 x 1520px.

Nokia 1.3 has a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than HTC Surround, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Nokia 1.3 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 400 GB. The Nokia 1.3 takes clearer photos and videos than HTC Surround, because it has a lot better video resolution and a back facing camera with much more MP.
