Alcatel Insight is a bit better than the HTC ThunderBolt, having a score of 58.9 against 55.9. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Alcatel Insight has the newer 9.0 Pie version while HTC ThunderBolt has Android 4.0 version, giving a couple additional features and optimized performance. The Alcatel Insight is a a lot newer device, and it's also somewhat lighter and extremely thinner than HTC ThunderBolt.
HTC ThunderBolt has a bit sharper screen than Alcatel Insight, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 800 x 480, it also counts with a little bit higher screen pixels density. Alcatel Insight counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than HTC ThunderBolt, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Alcatel Insight also has 16 GB internal memory.
The Alcatel Insight has a more powerful CPU than HTC ThunderBolt, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM. Alcatel Insight features a very superior battery duration than HTC ThunderBolt, because it has 2200mAh of battery capacity.
Alcatel Insight captures better pictures and videos than HTC ThunderBolt, because although it has a much lower 5 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a lot higher video definition.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, the Alcatel Insight is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes this phone a no doubt choice.
