The Acer Liquid has an overall score of 45, which is just a bit better than HTC Touch Cruise's general score of 41.1. The Acer Liquid counts with Android 1.6 OS, while HTC Touch Cruise comes with Windows Mobile Professional 6.0 OS. Acer Liquid's construction is newer and somewhat thinner, but just a little heavier than HTC Touch Cruise.

The Acer Liquid features a quite superior hardware performance than HTC Touch Cruise, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Acer Liquid also has a graphics co-processor and 128 MB more RAM. The Acer Liquid has a much more vibrant display than HTC Touch Cruise, because it has a way higher 800 x 480 resolution, a bigger screen and a way higher screen pixel density.

Acer Liquid shoots much better photos and videos than HTC Touch Cruise, because it has a way higher 5 MP resolution back facing camera. HTC Touch Cruise and Acer Liquid have quite similar memory capacity for games and applications, although the Acer Liquid has no SD memory card expansion slot. Acer Liquid and HTC Touch Cruise both have incredibly similar batteries duration.
