The Samsung Intercept has a score of 46.8, which is slightly better than HTC Touch Pro CDMA's 43.3 global score. The Samsung Intercept has Android 2.2 operating system, while HTC Touch Pro CDMA counts with Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 operating system. The Samsung Intercept body is newer, thinner and just a bit lighter than the HTC Touch Pro CDMA.

HTC Touch Pro CDMA features a more vivid screen than Samsung Intercept, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much greater display pixel density and a lot better 640 x 480 pixels resolution. Samsung Intercept counts with a little faster processor than HTC Touch Pro CDMA, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
