HTC Touch Pro CDMA Review

HTC Touch Pro CDMA is a low end cellphone launched in September 2008, which features a little 2.8 inches display, a 3.2 MP back facing camera and a processor clocking at 528 MHz.

HTC equipped this phone with a fast CPU clocking at 528 MHz and just 288 MB RAM memory.

This cellphone is a little bit thick compared to nowadays cellphones, with a thickness of 0.71 inches. Whereas the HTC Touch Pro CDMA has 4.17" long and 2.05 inches wide, it only holds a way smaller 2.8 inches screen. HTC forgot about weight optimization in this 5.3 oz cellphone, far heavier than other similar cellphones.

This cellphone is only equipped with a 3.2 megapixels back-facing camera. To complete the camera, it also includes flash.

HTC equipped this cellphone with a good looking 2.8-inches display, and a 640 x 480 (VGA) resolution, giving this device a good level graphic quality. Its display uses TFT resistive technology, but it can't detect multi touch gestures.

This phone includes Wi-Fi connectivity (although it can't provide it to other devices acting as a hotspot) and 3G internet connection, using EV-DO A technologies. This device doesn't use a SIM card, because it's not a GSM cellphone and it can work with CDMA networks.

This device features a medium 1340 mAh Li-Ion removable battery, which is not really enough for a demanding device like this. This device has an aproximate 4.2 hours talk time and a 350 hs stand by time.

This cellphone also comes with a couple of interesting features like Bluetooth (for communication with other phones, computers and accessories) and GPS Localization, and Accelerometer.

The HTC Touch Pro CDMA costs about $ 120, which is high for a cellphone this level.
