LG V30 is a just a little thinner and a bit lighter phone than the HTC U Ultra, even though both were only released with a few months difference. LG V30 features a little more vivid screen than HTC U Ultra, because it has a little better pixel count per screen inch, a little bigger display and a little higher 1440 x 2880px resolution.

LG V30 counts with a bit better hardware performance than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the LG V30 also has more CPU cores. LG V30 features a slightly better camera than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a much tinier sensor providing a lot lower image quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG V30 also counts with a bigger camera aperture for better low-light images and a much more mega pixels back facing camera.

The LG V30's storage for applications and games is very similar to HTC U Ultra's one, both have a SD memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and the same internal memory. The LG V30 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 3300mAh battery size.
