Comparison review
The HTC U Ultra is a bit better than OnePlus 8, getting a general score of 77 against 76. HTC U Ultra is a a little bit lighter cellphone than OnePlus 8, but both of them have the same thickness. OnePlus 8 has a bit better looking screen than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a just a bit lower amount of pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit bigger display.
OnePlus 8 counts with just a bit better processing power than HTC U Ultra, because it has a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The OnePlus 8 counts with a much better camera than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has a lot higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera, a larger camera sensor and better video frame rate.
HTC U Ultra has a superior storage capacity to install applications and games than OnePlus 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. OnePlus 8 counts with a superior battery duration than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 43% greater battery capacity.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it is way more expensive than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy HTC U Ultra, otherwise you can save some money and buy the OnePlus 8, letting go a couple specs and features.
