Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 is a bit better than the HTC U11, having a score of 85 against 77.6. The Apple iPhone 8 body is somewhat lighter and a little thinner than HTC U11, although they were released with only 4 months difference. The iPhone 8 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than HTC U11, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores and they are also slower, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.
HTC U11 counts with a slightly better looking display than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a much higher 1440 x 2560px resolution, a larger screen and a much greater pixel amount per screen inch. The iPhone 8 features a lot bigger storage for apps and games than HTC U11, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory.
IPhone 8 features a slightly better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures and videos in low light environments and a smaller sensor capturing worse quality pictures and videos, and they both have a 12 mega pixels back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the iPhone 8 also counts with better video frame rate.
HTC U11 counts with a much longer battery life than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 65 percent greater battery size.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC U11. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy HTC U11, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
