Comparison review
Google Nexus 6P has an overall score of 80.3, which is a bit better than HTC U11's 77.6 score. Despite of the fact the Google Nexus 6P is older and just a little bit heavier than the HTC U11, it's construction is still a little thinner. HTC U11 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC U11 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The HTC U11 counts with a bit better looking screen than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1440 x 2560 resolution, the HTC U11 also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display. Google Nexus 6P's camera is just as good as the camera in HTC U11, because although the Google Nexus 6P has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photos, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, it also counts with a back facing camera with a higher resolution and a bigger camera sensor taking better quality photographs and videos.
Google Nexus 6P has just a bit more storage capacity to install applications and games than HTC U11, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Google Nexus 6P counts with a bit longer battery duration than HTC U11, because it has 3450mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC U11. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the HTC U11, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
