Comparison review
LG V30 is a bit better than HTC U11, getting a overall score of 79.1 against 77.6. Although LG V30 and the HTC U11 were only released 4 months apart, LG V30 is just a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter. HTC U11 and LG V30 both have extremely similar CPUs, they have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory.
LG V30 has a screen that is just as good as the HTC U11 one, although the LG V30 also has a bit better display pixels density, a little bit bigger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels. The LG V30 counts with a much better memory capacity for games and applications than HTC U11, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the LG V30 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG V30 has a slightly better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the LG V30 also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light images and a camera in the back with a much better resolution.
The LG V30 features just a bit longer battery performance than HTC U11, because it has a 10 percent more battery capacity.
LG V30 is a bit more expensive than HTC U11, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
