Comparison review
Moto Z4 has a score of 79.8, which is a bit better than the HTC U11's 77.6 general score. Moto Z4's body is way newer, just a little lighter and just a little thinner than the HTC U11. The HTC U11 has just a little better performance than Moto Z4. Both have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit.
HTC U11 has a little bit better screen than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px. Motorola Moto Z4 counts with a better camera than HTC U11, and although they both have a F1.7 aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Moto Z4 also has a back facing camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution and a way bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Moto Z4 features a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC U11, because it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Motorola Moto Z4 has better battery performance than HTC U11, because it has a 3600mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
Although Moto Z4 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC U11. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get HTC U11, giving up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
