The Galaxy A8 Star has an overall score of 82.1, which is slightly better than the HTC U11's score of 77.6. The Galaxy A8 Star is a newer and just a little thinner phone than HTC U11, but it is also somewhat heavier. HTC U11 has just a bit better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per inch of screen and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Galaxy A8 Star has a bigger storage for apps and games than HTC U11, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy A8 Star also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. HTC U11 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Galaxy A8 Star has greater battery life than HTC U11, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star captures a little bit better photographs and videos than HTC U11, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality videos and images, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels.
