Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a score of 81.7, which is a bit better than HTC U11's 77.6 overall score. Even being the best in this review, we must highlight that it's also a older, just a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker cellphone. Galaxy Note Edge features a better display than HTC U11, because although it has a little worse display pixel density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1440, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with a little larger screen.
HTC U11 has a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 128 GB, the HTC U11 also has 64 GB internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit faster processor than HTC U11, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a battery duration that's very similar to HTC U11's battery life. The Galaxy Note Edge's camera is just as good as the HTC U11 one, because although the Galaxy Note Edge has a smaller sensor taking less light and dull colors and a much tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, it also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC U11. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the HTC U11, resigning a couple specs and features.
