Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a score of 79.3, which is slightly better than HTC U11's 77.6 overall score. The Galaxy S6 edge+ is an older device than the HTC U11, but Samsung made it thinner and a bit lighter anyway. HTC U11 features a better CPU than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the HTC U11 also has a greater number of cores.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ counts with a slightly better looking display than HTC U11, because although it has a bit worse screen density, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440px resolution, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a bit larger screen. The HTC U11 has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the HTC U11 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
Galaxy S6 edge+ features just a bit better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a tinier sensor and a smaller aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way higher resolution back-facing camera.
The HTC U11 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ count with extremely similar batteries duration.
Although Galaxy S6 edge+ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC U11. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy S6 edge+, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the HTC U11, giving up a couple features and specs.
