Comparison review
Xperia 5 has a score of 81, which is a bit better than HTC U11's global score of 77.6. Xperia 5 is a much newer and just a little lighter phone than the HTC U11, although it's just a bit thicker. The Xperia 5 features a little bit better hardware performance than HTC U11, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 also has a larger amount of RAM.
HTC U11 features a little bit better screen than Xperia 5, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher number of pixels in each display inch and a bit higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. HTC U11 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 video quality and a camera with a 12 mega-pixels resolution, the HTC U11 also counts with a larger camera sensor providing a better image quality.
Sony Xperia 5 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than HTC U11, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Xperia 5 features a bit better battery duration than HTC U11, because it has a 5 percent bigger battery size.
Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC U11. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the HTC U11, resigning a couple features and specifications.
