The Samsung Galaxy S III is just a bit better than the Huawei Ascend D2, having a general score of 70 against 64.5. Samsung Galaxy S III's construction is just a little thinner and noticeably lighter than Huawei Ascend D2, even when both of them were released only 7 months apart. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S III has the newer 4.3 version while Huawei Ascend D2 has Android 4.1.2, so it provides the user a couple additional features.
The Huawei Ascend D2 counts with a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a greater pixel count in each inch in the screen, a quite bigger display and a lot better 1920 x 1080 resolution. Galaxy S III counts with a bit better processing power than Huawei Ascend D2, because although it has an inferior number of 1500 MHz cores, and they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy S III also counts with an additional GPU.
The Galaxy S III takes clearer pictures and videos than Huawei Ascend D2, although it has a smaller aperture, a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a way lower 8 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera. The Galaxy S III features slightly more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Ascend D2, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports up to 64 GB.
Huawei Ascend D2 counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy S III, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2100mAh.
