Huawei Ascend D2 Review

Huawei Ascend D2 is an amazing cellphone launched in January 2013, including a quite big 5 inches multi-touch capacitive screen, an extremely fast 1500 megahertz Quad-Core CPU, and 2 cameras, a 13 mega-pixels back-facing camera and a 1.3 mega-pixels front facing camera.

The Huawei Ascend D2 is extremely thin and stilized, being just 0.37" thick. The Huawei Ascend D2 is a very compact phone, taking into consideration it presents a 5 inches screen and it is just 5.51" long and 2.8 inches wide. Huawei didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 6 oz cellphone.

An amazing feature of this cellphone is its 32 GB big internal memory and even though it doesn't have an external memory card slot, it it is more than enough to install tons of apps, games, songs, pictures and videos without thinking about how much storage is left.

The Huawei Ascend D2 offers Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and 3G fast connectivity, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone uses a SIM card for GSM services.

This phone features two cameras, a 13 MP back side camera and a 1.3 megapixels front facing camera. This cellphone also shoots Full HD 1920x1080 videos. In addition, this cellphone's camera also counts with some nice characteristics: flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.

This phone also comes with a couple nice features such as Bluetooth (for communication with other devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone counts with a 3000 mAh large replaceable battery that provides the Huawei Ascend D2 a great battery duration.
