Sony Xperia M5 Review

Sony Xperia M5 is a top-notch cellphone launched back in the year 2015, counting with a quite big 5" multi-touch display, an extremely fast processing unit ticking at 2000 megahertz, and two cameras, a 21.5 megapixels back side camera and a 13 MP front camera.

Sony made this device in 3 different colors, black, white and gold. The Sony Xperia M5 is much lighter than what one would expect from a cellphone of this size. Talking about its construction, this phone is built with plastic; metal. This cellphone just has 5.71" long, but it manages to hold a 5" screen. The Sony Xperia M5 is just 0.3 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest phones you can find.

Sony equipped this phone with a beautiful 5 inches display, and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD), making everything look vivid and colorful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

Sony decided to build this cellphone using a very fast 2000 MHz processor, bundled in the MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 system chip with a large 3 GB of RAM memory. This phone counts with a quite large 16 GB internal storage memory and an SD card slot, which allows you to store hundreds of applications and games without any trouble.

This phone is equipped with two cameras, a 21.5 megapixels back-facing camera and a 13 megapixels front facing camera. This cellphone also films 3840x2160 4K videos. The camera also has many valuable features: flash, digital image stabilization, auto-focus, face detection shooting, HDR mode, smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This cellphone features wi-fi connection (which can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G LTE high performance data connection and also HSPA+ connection type, that is a slower 4G technology and the fastest 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This device has dual sim cards to be able to to work with 2 different carriers or phone lines.

This phone comes with an awesome 2600 mAh non-replaceable battery that can keep this device running for several hours without having to charge it. This phone has an aproximate talk time of 11.8 hs and a stand by time of 671 hs. An issue to take into consideration is that the Sony Xperia M5's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it starts to get older, although with such a huge battery size you will probably buy a new device before that happens.

This cellphone also features a handful of interesting features like Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (4.1) and GPS Navigation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Sony Xperia M5 costs around 235 dollars, which is not so cheap for this kind of phone. No matter whether you will use it for work, need a cellphone to mostly use social networks, you love taking photographs or want a gaming device, you will probably love this device.
