The LG V50 ThinQ has a global score of 83.7, which is much better than Xperia M5's overall score of 70.5. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but the LG V50 ThinQ has a newer 10 version while Xperia M5 has Android 5.0 version. Even though LG V50 ThinQ is incredibly newer than Xperia M5, it's extremely heavier and a little thicker.

Xperia M5 counts with a slightly better looking display than LG V50 ThinQ, although it has a just a little worse pixel density, a way smaller screen and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution. LG V50 ThinQ counts with a way better battery duration than Xperia M5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.

LG V50 ThinQ takes much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia M5, because although it has a back-facing camera with lot less mega pixels and a worse (4K) video definition, it also counts with a way larger camera aperture.

LG V50 ThinQ costs a little more money than the Xperia M5, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
