The Samsung Galaxy S4 has an overall score of 76.1, which is a bit better than Xperia M5's 70.5 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S4 construction is just a bit lighter than the Xperia M5, although it is just a bit thicker and was released many years before. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S4 has an older 4.4.2 version and Xperia M5 has Android 5.0 version.
The Galaxy S4 counts with a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia M5. Both of them have exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the same display pixels density and a screen with the same size. Samsung Galaxy S4 has a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia M5, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and 3 more cores.
The Galaxy S4 captures clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia M5, although it has a lot less megapixels camera in the back and a way lower 1920x1080 video definition, they both have a F2.2 camera aperture. Sony Xperia M5 features a greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S4, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia M5 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 200 GB.
Galaxy S4's battery duration is just as good as the battery lifetime in Xperia M5.
Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy S4 is also a bargain compared to others.
