Comparison review
Galaxy S6 is much better than the Xperia M5, getting a overall score of 87.3 against 70.5. The Galaxy S6 design is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the Xperia M5, even when both of them were released only 4 months apart. These devices use the same Android 5.0 OS, so they should offer very similar operating system features.
Galaxy S6 features a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia M5, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a higher screen density and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a very superior processor than Xperia M5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also has a graphics co-processor, a 64-bits processing unit and more cores.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia M5, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Galaxy S6 has a superior camera than Xperia M5, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much lower resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low light photography.
The Xperia M5 and the Galaxy S6 have very similar batteries duration, although the Galaxy S6 has just 2550mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
The Galaxy S6 costs a bit more money than the Sony Xperia M5, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
