Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a score of 84.7, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 10 Pro's global score of 79.2. Even though Asus ROG Phone 5 is newer than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, it is extremely heavier and incredibly thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a brighter screen than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a little bit worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2448 and a bit larger display.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a bit better CPU than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a larger amount of RAM. Asus ROG Phone 5 has as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Huawei Mate 10 Pro one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 captures much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos, it also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution, a much higher resolution back facing camera and a lot bigger sensor.
