Google Pixel XL is a bit better than Huawei Mate 10, having a general score of 81.3 against 78.9. The Google Pixel XL body is just a little bit lighter than Huawei Mate 10, but it's just a little bit thicker and was released just a little over a year before. Huawei Mate 10 counts with a little sharper screen than Google Pixel XL, because although it has a bit worse pixel amount per inch in the screen, and they both have an equal 1440 x 2560 resolution, the Huawei Mate 10 also counts with a quite larger display.
The Huawei Mate 10 counts with a little faster processing unit than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM memory, the Huawei Mate 10 also has a greater number of cores (and they are faster). Huawei Mate 10 has a little bit better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel XL, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Google Pixel XL counts with a little bit better camera than Huawei Mate 10, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Google Pixel XL also counts with a camera with a better resolution and a lot larger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
Huawei Mate 10 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Google Pixel XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei Mate 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 10. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel XL, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Huawei Mate 10, resigning some specifications.
