Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 5s is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 20 lite, getting a overall score of 76.4 against 76.2. The Xiaomi Mi 5s is an older and just a bit thicker cellphone than Huawei Mate 20 lite, but Xiaomi made it lighter anyway. These phones work with Android OS, but the Xiaomi Mi 5s has older 6.0 Marshmallow version while Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite features a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Huawei Mate 20 lite also has 4 more cores (but slower). The Xiaomi Mi 5s has just a bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher display pixel density.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite has a better storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 5s's camera is very similar to the Huawei Mate 20 lite one, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a way lower resolution back camera and a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution.
Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a bit superior battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity.
