Comparison review
The iPhone 8 is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, getting a general score of 85 against 82.9. Despite of the fact that iPhone 8 is older than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, it's design is a lot lighter and somewhat thinner. Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a bit more vivid display than iPhone 8, because it has a lot bigger screen, a way greater screen pixel density and a much better 1440 x 3120 resolution.
Apple iPhone 8 has much more memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. IPhone 8 has just a little better processing power than Huawei Mate 20 Pro, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a much better battery duration than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 131% bigger battery size. Huawei Mate 20 Pro takes better videos and photos than Apple iPhone 8, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher 40 mega-pixels resolution and a way bigger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei Mate 20 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, letting go some features and specs.
